§ 1-1-1-14. EFFECTIVE DATE.

The Lawrence Municipal Code shall be in full force and effect two weeks from the date of publication and filing thereof in the office of the City Clerk. All amendments to the code requiring publication by Indiana statutes shall take effect from and after publication, unless otherwise provided. Ordinances not requiring publication shall take effect from and after their adoption by the Common Council, unless otherwise provided.
